Animals are all around us. Learning about animals is important for understanding our world. Knowing about the foods, habitats, body coverings and movements of animals can help us care for and protect the animals of our world.

Task

Your assignment is to learn as much as you can about these animals which are in the zoo.

You will work with a team of classmates to learn about the different types of animals that we have in our zoo.

Each group member will search for information about one of the types of animals.

You and your friends will join the information that you’ve got about the animals and create a PPT.

You should also be ready to have an oral presentation and tell your friends some curiosities that you have found.

These are the animals that you have to research:
- Sharks
- Kangaroo
- Flying squirrel
- Arctic fox
- Bengal tiger
- Zebra 

 

Process

·         See your teacher for your group assignment.

·         Meet with your group to decide which animal will be assigned for every member of the group.  

·         Check out the animals by using the internet links.

·         You have to research about where they live, what they eat, what they can do and some other facts and curiosities.

·         Your oral presentation will be on Friday 24th and remember that Each group member should have a part to say.

·         Share your PPT with the class when asked by your teacher.

All of your work on this WebQuest project will be a part of the evaluation. You can view the rubric that will be used for grading your project here. Print a copy if you would like to look at it while you are working.

Conclusion

Learning about animals and their needs is important for all people. When we know about the food and homes that animals need we can help protect them. I hope you enjoyed working on this WebQuest.
